Biography

Andrea Gold, PhD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Brown University Alpert Warren School of Medicine, and the DBT-X Team Leader at the Intensive Program for OCD & Related Disorders, Pediatric Anxiety Research Center (PARC), Bradley Hospital. Andrea is passionate about her goal to integrate clinical research, exposure and response prevention (ERP), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), while living the ‘exposure lifestyle’ and ‘DBT lifestyle’ as all-in life philosophies. At PARC, she is currently developing an adaptation of DBT targeting exposure (DBT-X) for the subpopulation of adolescents with obsessive-compulsive disorder and other fear disorders co-occurring with emotion dysregulation, self-injurious behaviors, and BPD.
